African Music Open House

Offered in conjunction with the exhibit Beyond Drumming: African Musical Instruments, the Lam Museum will celebrate the diversity of African music and culture. There will be live music and dance performances from Otesha Creative Arts Ensemble and the WFU African and Caribbean Student Association, as well as crafts and activities for all ages. Authentic African food will be for sale from the African Avenue food truck. Visitors will also be able to explore additional exhibits about status and power in Africa and the art of the Ivory Coast and learn about university and community organizations at their booths.  Admission is free.
