Two programs for childcare groups with elementary-aged children and teens are available to book for Summer 2025!

China: Then & Now

Using images and objects from the Museum’s collections, participants will learn about the mix of people, cultures, and arts that make China such a fascinating country.

  • PreK through 5th grade children will make a dragon toy.
  • Teens will create a Chinese painted scroll.

Mythology: Gods, Goddesses, and Monsters

Looking at images, videos, and objects from the
Museum’s collections, participants will learn what
mythology is. We will discuss why mythology has
been and continues to be an important part of
cultures around the world.

  • PreK through 5th grade children will make Greek masks.
  • Teens will create Roman-inspired glass mosaics.

Programs are available at the Museum or as outreach at your location.

The fee is $5.00 per child. For groups of 20 or fewer, there is a minimum fee of
$100. For outreach programs, there is an additional flat mileage fee
based on your location.
