Summer Programs 2026
Two programs for childcare groups with elementary-aged children and teens are available to book for Summer 2026!
Australia: Aboriginal Culture
Looking at objects and artifacts from the Museum’s collections, participants will learn about the music, dance, art, and cultures of the Aboriginal people of Australia.
- PreK through 5th grade children will create their own dot painting.
- Teens will make a didgeridoo.


Peru: Past & Present
Using images, videos, and objects from the Museum’s collections, participants will explore the mix of people, cultures, and arts that make Peru a fascinating country.
- PreK through 5th grade children will create a Peruvian style hat with paper and other materials.
- Teens will make an Incan style mask.
Summer programs are available at the Museum or as outreach at your location.
The fee is $5.00 per child. For groups of 20 or fewer, there is a minimum fee of
$100. For outreach programs, there is an additional flat mileage fee
based on your location.
